What Is the Orton-Gillingham Approach, and Why Does the Depaul School Use It?

This approach is designed for students who have difficulties with reading, writing, and spelling. It works especially well with dyslexic students, who may not learn in the same way and pace as a non-dyslexic student.

How the DePaul School Teaches Music

For all traditional program students at the dePaul School, music class, with a focus on the violin, happens once a week. In the delta program, students have the option to add the violin to their schedule after the school day.  

Congressman Charlie Crist Visits dePaul School

Couldn't be more proud of the Delta Students who exercised their rights as concerned citizens and wrote to their Congressman to voice their opinion regarding the Big Cat Safety Act. What a valuable lesson learned by these students about democracy and how our government works. Thank You Charlie Crist for taking the time to respond in person.
