Dyslexiaville has launched the first eight episodes of its new web series by and for dyslexics called the Super d! Show. The short videos focus less on teaching reading and more on coping with the challenges of dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Topics include everything from bullying and struggles with schoolwork to anxiety and embarassment. The actors, all of whom are dyslexic or have ADHD, explore the problems they experience in real life while sharing strategies and instilling confidence. www.dyslexiaville.com

As the parent of a dePaul student or simply a friend or supporter of the dePaul School, how would you feel if I told you the past President of the International Dyslexia Association, Dr. Eric Tridas, made it a point to shake my hand and tell me that our school does a really good job?

As Head of School, my goal is to provide the highest quality education for our students. Research has proven that for dyslexic students, an Orton-Gillingham (O-G) based structured literacy program like ours is the best and only way that they will learn. That being said, I am a firm believer that there is always something we can do to improve our program every year.
