Worthy of Praise

As the parent of a dePaul student or simply a friend or supporter of the dePaul School, how would you feel if I told you the past President of the International Dyslexia Association, Dr. Eric Tridas, made it a point to shake my hand and tell me that our school does a really good job?

I've Learned I Still Have a lot to Learn!

As Head of School, my goal is to provide the highest quality education for our students. Research has proven that for dyslexic students, an Orton-Gillingham (O-G) based structured literacy program like ours is the best and only way that they will learn. That being said, I am a firm believer that there is always something we can do to improve our program every year.

New Year, New Spaces, New Faces!

A lot of things changed over the summer at the dePaul School! Over the summer months we remodeled and expanded several areas - creating 2 new classrooms, additional administrative space and a fresh, new library. With the additional classrooms, we were able to increase enrollment to 76 students. With 76 students we needed additional teachers. With additional students and teachers came the need for a second fulltime administrator!
