Our Program
We don’t teach around dyslexia. We teach through it.
Our full-time, structured K–8 program is grounded in the belief that when you understand how a student learns, you can unlock how they thrive.
With daily, targeted instruction, a supportive environment, and an unwavering belief in every student’s potential, our classrooms are where progress begins and confidence takes root.

Why Our Program Works
We specialize in language-based learning differences, with a focus on dyslexia and related challenges in reading, spelling, writing, and executive functioning.

With a 6:1 average student-teacher ratio, instruction is personal, patient, and persistent.
The dePaul School uses a multi-sensory, mastery-based instructional model, grounded in the Orton-Gillingham methodology, which is widely regarded as the gold standard for students with dyslexia.
Every element of our curriculum is rooted in evidence-based methods and delivered with understanding, flexibility, and purpose.

Our classrooms are language-rich, low-distraction environments where students can focus, flourish, and feel understood.
Every element of our school, from class size to curriculum to classroom language, is designed with dyslexic learners in mind. Each day is intentionally designed to restore a child’s confidence, equip them with the skills they need to thrive, and reignite their love of learning.
We don’t ask students to fit the system. We build a system that fits the student.
