Outreach & Support

Community-Based Services—Empowering Students, Supporting Families.

As part of the dePaul Dyslexia Group, Outreach & Support Services extend the impact of dePaul beyond the classroom. We believe that every child with dyslexia, diagnosed or not, deserves access to early identification, research-informed instruction, and a community that understands how they learn.

Through screening, education, and one-on-one support services, we partner with families, educators, and the broader community to close the knowledge gap around dyslexia and provide practical tools for success.

Extending Our Impact

Extending Our Impact

The Outreach & Support arm of the dePaul Dyslexia Group is grounded in one mission: expanding access to effective, early, and empathetic guidance and support for families potentially faced with dyslexia.

Whether your child is already struggling or you’re just beginning to ask questions, our mission is simple: make sure no family faces this journey alone.

What We Offer

  • Free or low-cost dyslexia screenings for early identification
  • Expert-led community education and awareness events
  • Research-informed tutoring and intervention
  • Open-enrollment summer learning programs

Every dePaul service is informed by the decades of experience we have in working with students with language-based learning differences, and our expertise in the Orton-Gillingham approach.
