Delta Students Receive iPads, Lessons in Cyber Safety

Students in the Delta Program received their school-issued iPads last week. Guidance Counselor Christine Bergman spoke with students on the importance of responsible digital citizenship and smart internet safety practices.

School Library Updated, Automated

During the summer months the school library underwent an overhaul, with over 1,000 books being entered into the automated system for check-out. Many of the new books are written and published specifically for students who struggle with reading, providing hi-interest content at a lower reading level.

dePaul is participating in Give Day Tampa Bay on May 5!

From midnight to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, donors can make gifts to dePaul online at www.GiveDayTampaBay.org. This is a community-wide, online giving day hosted by The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. Participating in it will help dePaul raise much-needed dollars and celebrate the good work of all Tampa Bay nonprofits so your gift would be greatly appreciated!

Museum Recognizes dePaul Student Artwork

dePaul student artwork is on display at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art at St. Pete College March 8-April 12. The exhibit features artwork based on contemporary artists Yayoi Kusama and Richard Kalina as well as pieces reflecting art history including cave paintings, Egyptian tomb paintings and vases from Crete. Be sure to visit the exhibit and view these wonderful pieces!

Holiday Food Drive Meets Goal!

The dePaul School Food Drive to benefit Church and Community Outreach (CCO) in Safety Harbor was a huge success! Students collected over 500 items of food in 10 days earning an all school "Pajama Day" next week! Thanks to all the caring families who helped make this so successful!
